Lead DevOps Engineer | High Level Security Clearance Required | £65,000 - £85,000 + Bonus | Gloucestershire | Hybrid 2-3 days per week onsite (project dependent)
Yolk Recruitment are working with a National Security Consultancy looking to build a new cloud engineering team. They searching for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join in a technical, team leadership role.
If successful you will join an experienced team working to build deployment & cloud solutions within a secure development environment. You will work with a variety of clients on a mixture of cloud hosted (AWS) & on-prem solutions. To be successful you will need strong experience in Linux systems administration (RedHat), IAC (Terraform) & exposure to building container solutions (Docker or Kubernetes).
They're based in Gloucestershire & operate hybrid working with 2-3 days onsite per week. the role requires active high level security clearance.
This is what you'll be doing:
Building & maintaining secure linux infrastructure solutions on-prem & cloud hosted (AWS).
Automating system deployment, operation and maintenance using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management tooling.
Leading a team of engineers including one to ones, KPI management, target setting etc.
Responding to & fixing system & platform issues.
The experience you'll bring to the team:
Linux Administration (RedHat)
Terraform
CI / CD pipeline management
Docker / Kubernetes
Python, Bash, PowerShell (or similar) scripting
What you will receive in return:
Salary between £65,000 - £87,000
Bonus up to 10%
Private medical insurance
25 days holiday (bank holidays on top)
