Transport Refrigeration Engineer
Competitive salary (plus overtime) depending on experience

Monday to Friday, 45 hours a week + overtime

Petit Forestier, the European leader in refrigerated rental, are recruiting for a hardworking Transport Refrigeration Engineer who will join our friendly team based at our West London depot. Transport Refrigeration Engineer Role
* Managing individual job assignments and using own initiative at customer sites
* Participating in out of hours call-out rotas when required
* Using the workshop/ van equipment in a correct manner
* Completing any repairs and servicing to the correct standard
* Recording usage of refrigeration parts and consumables per job
* Correctly recording the use, recycling and disposal of F Gases
* Completing all work in a professional and timely manner
* Preparing and submitting vehicles to a standard appropriate for the use intended
* Communicating accurately with Foreman/ Manager as to work in progress and any anticipated delays or issues
* Ensuring knowledge is in line with modern technologies and developments applicable to the role
* Responsible for adhering to health and safety guidelines applicable to the role.
What are we looking for?
Essential:
* Own tools
* Working knowledge of transport refrigeration applications and current F Gas legislation.
* Full and clean driving license
* Effective verbal and written skills, coupled with strong decision making and problem solving skills.
* Planning and time management.
Desirable:
* Category 1 FGAS qualification
* Extensive previous experience as a Mobile Transport Refrigeration Engineer
