Are you passionate about providing high-quality education and support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teachers to join our team in supporting students in specialist provisions across Greater Manchester.

Responsibilities:

1.

Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the diverse needs of students with SEND, ensuring access to the curriculum and promoting academic progress.

2.

Individualised Support: Provide personalised support to students with SEND, including o1:1 and small group instruction, adapting teaching strategies and materials to accommodate individual learning styles and abilities.

3.

Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Assess student progress, track achievement, and gather evidence of learning using a variety of assessment methods, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and relevant stakeholders.

4.

Collaboration: Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and external professionals (e.g., speech therapists, occupational therapists) to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and support strategies for students with SEND.

5.

Behaviour Management: Implement positive behaviour management strategies, foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, and provide guidance and support to students in developing self-regulation skills.

6.

Professional Development: Stay current on best practices, research findings, and developments in the field of SEND education, participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching students with SEND.

* Strong understanding of SEND principles, practices, and legislation.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

* Ability to adapt teaching approaches and strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with SEND.

* Compassion, patience, and a genuine commitment to supporting the holistic development of every student.
