TS Recruitment are actively working with a Main Contractor who are looking to recruit a Senior Buyer to join the business.

Competitive basic salary dependant on experience
8am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Job Role & Responsibilities:

Provide prices for all materials on site
Identify suppliers and new products
Manage and agree lead times
Monitor service levels of suppliers
Manage company vehicles / fleet cars including MOTs service and new lease agreements
Order plant and machines for site maximising use with limited downtime
Liaise with accounts regarding invoicing and deliveries

Knowledge/Experience:

A sound knowledge of construction materials
Good communication skills at all levels
Good negotiation skills
Strong IT and numerical skills
The ability to research products and network
