The company
A rapidly expanding Construction subcontractor with a growing presence in the industry across South Yorkshire. The business has built a fantastic reputation within the industry and are now looking to bolster their commercial team. They have built their reputation by being committed to delivering a personalised service and adapting their approach to suit each individual client.
Quantity Surveyor role
The role reports into the Commercial Director for the business who will be there to offer continued guidance and support. Typical duties will include:
* Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
* Reviewing of contract documents.
* Manage and maintain relationships with established list of suppliers and clients.
* Assess contract risk.
* Attend internal and external commercial review meetings.
* Preparation and assistance with the evaluation and submission of claims for variation works.
What we’re looking for:
* Construction related qualification (Degree / HNC / etc..) – Preferable.
* Experience of working in a contracting environment (main contracting or sub contracting) would be preferable.
* A candidate who is ambitious and determined to succeed & progress
Benefits
The role provides you with the opportunity to earn a basic salary of up to £45,000. Travel expenses and pension contribution also come as standard.
