Calibre Search are working with a SME commercial led real estate Practice who after a lot of success, are keen to bring in an accomplished Building Surveyor to join their expanding team based just South of Manchester.
They're happy to consider both local Building Surveyors as well Building Surveyors from other parts of the UK (preferably round the southern regions or Midlands) who are happy to be remote based as well as fine travelling to various sites which we will be a big requirement for this role.
The Practices themselves have won some huge frameworks in recent times which are heavily automotive and roadside focused which involve you offering all aspects of building surveying from professional technical due diligence to full project management making this quite a varied role.
The team itself is still in the early stages of its growth so this could be a great position to join and really become integral to the growth of this department having a big say in how it develops over the years. MRICS isn't essential but wanting to become chartered is desirable which they will fully support you in.
Requirements
Undertaking building surveys, site inspections and measured surveys
Drafting plans/sections/elevations on computer aided design software
Preparation of Schedules of Work and Specifications for all types of maintenance and construction projects
Delivery of contract administration services
Offer a high standard of professional services (dilaps, defect analysis etc)
Be personable and presentable
