Travel Customer Service role:
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join award-winning Specialist Tour Operator, Prestige Travel, working in our busy Client Services Dept.
Based in Ferndown Dorset, we are a well-established independent Tour Operator who prides themselves in providing real value holidays together with a quality service to their valued clients.
The role is varied and will suit someone who has strong customer service skills, and the ability to work under pressure as part of a flexible and professional team. A love of travel and the travel industry will be a plus!
Travel Customer Service Job Spec
As a Travel Customer Service Executive you will be supporting the Sales department and dealing with post booking queries. You will be:
* Issuing client’s invoices, airline tickets and documentation.
* Solving any queries that may arise from either travel agents or clients.
* Handling customer amendments, cancellations and complaints.
* Assisting with out of office hours issues on a rota basis.
* Running and managing reports.
* Undertaking general admin duties and arranging daily post.
* Providing excellent customer service throughout.
Who we are looking for
The successful Travel Customer Service candidate will:
* Have previous experience in a customer service role where you can demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
* Be able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues.
* Be flexible and self-motivated, you'll take the initiative and be keen to embrace new training opportunities.
* Have great communication skills - both verbal and written.
* Have effective administration, planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Have good IT/Computer skills. MS Office including Excel and Outlook.
A working knowledge of the travel industry is essential, however training will be provided.

· The role is full time Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm (Saturday cover with a day off in the week may be required in busy periods)
· Hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days to be based in the office in Ferndown
