Are you looking for an IT Infrastructure/Cloud Engineer – 365 in the Cambridge area?

My client is a hi-tech technology company with operations around the world.
They have 5 IT staff in Cambridgeshire supporting c250 users, globally they have 50 IT staff.

They work hybrid 2 days at home, 3 days in the office.

Your role will be to support the local IT infrastructure for this site and support there move into a more Cloud based infrastructure. They currently have a mix of on premises equipment and Cloud based. Currently they have email/Outlook and Dynamics in the Cloud and are planning to move more infrastructure to the Cloud, but it will be more of a long-term project to migrate the majority of their infrastructure to the Cloud.

They are looking for someone who has been through the journey of migrating to the Cloud and can help the Cambridgeshire site with things like setting it up for Microsoft best practice and Defender. As well as providing 2nd/3rd line support on their IT Infrastructure.

Skills and Experience required for the IT Infrastructure/Cloud Engineer – 365:
Experience of supporting system administration for Microsoft oriented infrastructure.
Extensive technical experience of Microsoft 365 platform in particular Intune.
Technical experience configuring Cloud IS Infrastructure and Platforms.
Experience in Cloud Services and Delivery Technologies.
Daily monitoring and management of Cloud Services systems, in particular the Microsoft 365 environment (Intune, Exchange Online, Defender for Endpoint, etc).
Develop and refine Microsoft 365 solutions roadmap for continuous improvement, innovation, evolution, and system/service replacement in line with the business and IT strategy.
Assist in the technical planning and delivery of global Cloud Services solutions projects, providing technical direction and guidance to internal and external teams.
Provide 2nd and 3rd level troubleshooting of issues related to our Cloud Services platform.
Any Microsoft / Azure qualifications would be beneficial, but not essential. This is a great opportunity to join a highly successful technology company who are growing rapidly and investing in their IT Infrastructure.
