Electrical Estimator

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our client in the Newark area.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 16.30 p.m.
Salary: £35,000 + and is to be discussed at interview and is dependent on experience.

Duties may include but are not limited to:
* Reviewing project specifications, and other documents to understand project requirements.
* Analysing electrical systems and components to accurately estimate labour, materials and equipment costs.
* Liaising with engineers, projects managers, and clients to clarify project scope and objectives.
* Generating detailed cost estimates and proposals for electrical installations.
* Obtaining competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services.
* Attending site visits and inspections to assess project conditions and requirements.
* Identifying potential risks, challenges, and opportunities for cost saving during the estimating process.
* Maintaining accurate records of project estimates and associated information.
* Communicating effectively with stakeholders to present and discuss project estimates and proposals.
* Providing support to project teams during the bidding, planning and construction phases of projects.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience as an electrical estimator within the construction industry with the ability to accurately estimate project costs, including labour, materials, and equipment and health & safety knowledge would be beneficial.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Working knowledge of SEC cypher estimating package or similar.
* 18th edition amendment 2.
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
