Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a technical (engineering – hydraulics/pumps/PTO/Oil tanks) field
Experience in a similar position working in aftermarket supplier/automotive distributor is an advantage
Technical background with understanding of the regional and national automotive aftermarket market
Computer skills like MS Office, ERP systems
Analytical mindset, strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, creative and problem solving mindset
Team player Engineering Technical Support Specialist - Responsibilities
Completing (BOM’s) Bills of Materials
Producing quotations, costings for customers for products and bespoke services
Supporting the Sales, Parts & Service and the Customer Service teams
Taking service calls from customers, collating potential order information & variation to produce quotes for the sales team
Supporting to the order management team and has contact with new and existing customers to provide a superior level of customer satisfaction
Following up on sales made by the Sales department and conducts additional sales in his specialization to the customer
Investigating and analyse the possible needs of customers and prospects in markets in order to provide service and develop/support sales in his specialisation
Actively approach customers and prospects to sell and inform customers about new developments in the Hyva product range of his specialisation
Support the internal order management team in regard to commercial and technical questions
Ensure correct provision of information in regard to administrative completions of sales orders, such as the processing in the ERP system
Monitor the inventory, forecast and supply chain in relation to the delivery times and inform the customer
Respond to complaints, ensuring provision of information to After Sales if necessary and following up on solutions
Work in conjunction with Finance department in regard to late payments and delivery stoppage.  This role would suit: Technical Bill of Materials/Costing Specialist or Engineering (Sales/Service & Parts/Customer Service)
