Our client is looking for a Business Development & Partnerships Manager to help establish solid relationships across their key target markets, help drive new business sales efforts and contribute to international growth.
We're looking for candidates that have experience within the publishing industry, either publisher-side or with a third-party vendor.
In this brand new position you’ll be working within the lead-generation team and alongside the Account Managers, tasked with opening new doors, nurturing existing prospects and building a pipeline of new business opportunities. In this capacity you will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and nurturing to closing deals.
You will also work on building and developing partner relationships with third-party vendors, to ensure that they understand the product's key USPs whilst exploring any collaboration opportunities.
We are looking for someone with:
* Experience working within the publishing and media sector
* Great relationship management skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong ability to discuss publishing topics and challenges and high-level technical product integrations
* Good negotiation skills
* Strong sales skills
Responsibilities:
* Build and grow a pipeline of new business opportunities in order to meet revenue targets
* Work closely with the lead-generation team on new business campaigns and nurture any opportunities created from these campaigns
* Establish and maintain key vendor relationships in order to help grow the company's presence within key target markets
* Have an in-depth understanding of the publishing market and key target prospects
* Have a good understanding of the competitors and how their solutions compare
* Keep on top of the latest product developments and enhancements to maintain excellent product knowledge
* Demo products to target prospects, either face-to-face or online
As part of this role you will be required to meet with prospects and partners face-to-face and online, as well as attend international events
