Job Title: Internal Communications Executive

Location: Aldgate, London

Salary: £35,000 - £38,000

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 37.5hrs per week

Hybrid: 1 day per week in office

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Internal Communications Executive to support the development and delivery of internal communication activities. This role will be pivotal in strengthening employee engagement and fostering a culture of collaboration and awareness across our organisation.

Internal Communications Executive Key Responsibilities:

Act as the communications business partner to key areas of the UK Business Unit, developing, coordinating, and delivering communications plans to enhance adoption, efficiency, and awareness among UK colleagues.
Develop and implement a variety of internal communications materials, including email communications, briefing packs, alerts, posters, digital content, and business updates.
Ensure internal communications are clear, accessible, relevant, and aligned with UK internal communication activities.
Draft and manage content for internal communication channels, including the UK Business Unit intranet, employee app, SharePoint sites/portals, webcast platforms, and internal videos.
Participate in the UK-wide Internal Communications Network, contributing to the internal communications calendar to ensure message consistency across divisions and functions.
Support internal events and initiatives, such as the annual Senior Management Conference, webcasts, and other engagement events.
Report on the effectiveness of internal communications activities.
Respond to ad hoc internal requests for communications support.

Who We Are Looking For:

Proven experience in a communication-related role, with business partnering experience and experience within support functions such as HR or finance.
In-depth knowledge of the key elements associated with effective internal communications.
Strong communicator, confident in interfacing effectively with a range of stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and persuasive skills with experience in explaining complex information concisely.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as a strong, collaborative team player.
Highly agile, able to balance national and divisional needs and priorities, and flexible in supporting related duties as required.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize work, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
Creative with strong planning skills to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
High-level IT knowledge, with experience managing internal communications tools, including digital tools like SharePoint and Office 365 functionality, and app-based content management systems.
High attention to detail.
