As a Barclays Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will be responsible for helping to reduce operational working with teams to increase the automation of manual processes. You will be responsible for liaising with stakeholders across the business and gathering technical requirements. This is your opportunity to ensure that this data is turned into meaningful technical requirements for the development teams.

What will you be doing?
• Helping to define analysis approach in line with the strategic vision of the programme and the preferred methodology of the organisation
• Articulating and presenting commercial effectiveness of requirement proposals within a project or initiative
• Facing off to one or many business areas/SME's to understand high level requirements and challenging where necessary
• Working independently to elicit, validate and document systems requirements in user/feature stories depending on the SDLC in use by the development teams
• Participating in the design process as coordinated by the Programme Management team, from design approval to functional design completion 
• Supporting the testing strategy and input into the coverage of Test scenarios and conditions ensuring all requirements in scope are tested

What we’re looking for:
• Experience of some of the underpinning frameworks and tools for business analysis documentation e.g. UML / BPMN
• Experience of preparing and issuing a range of key business analysis deliverables
• Understanding of project methodologies and their application within the organisation's project methodology
• Adept at using Microsoft Office products with some experience using other software packages relevant to BA work

Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997. This state-of-the art energy efficient building holds up to 2,500 staff. The office location is perfect for travel from the midlands and London alike as we are based just off the A45, it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
