EMI Services is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Meter Reader. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately reading and recording the usage of electric, gas, steam, and water meters. By diligently tracking and documenting the appropriate information, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient utility service delivery to our valued customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the sustainability and reliable operation of our community's essential utilities.
Salary
$32.82 to $34.76/hr. (DOE) plus $4.57 fringe benefits used towards insurance and 401k!

Key Responsibilities
Inspect meters for damages or defects
Inspect, collect and document readings from company meters
Check equipment for damage, faults, unauthorized equipment or third-party connections
Activate or deactivate meters as instructed
Communicate with customers to gain access to meters
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years related experience
Valid driver’s license
Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
Regular, dependable attendance
U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain access to military installations
