GPS Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity with a leading global manufacturer in the engineering industry to cover the south of England.
If you are an experienced Regional Sales manager with the drive to continually build a company’s profile and grow your reputation, we should chat.
You’ll be responsible for managing, maintaining and developing a pre-set regional sales target, increasing sales within an assigned area and working closely with internal departments to further develop, existing and new customer accounts.
We are looking for individuals with a clear understanding of market / customer demands, who have the foresight to analyse market opportunity, maximising sales margins and KPI delivery.
Key responsibilities:
* Maintain and further develop customer relationships, through managing and interpreting their requirements.
* Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions for customer and company advantage.
* With the support of internal technical sales to further develop, existing customer accounts, further develop open opportunities and sales though to eventual closure.
* Provide pre-sales technical assistance, product education, and end solution for the customer’s needs.
* Follow up quotations in a timely manner to secure profitable orders, work on after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required.
* Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
* Liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts to further customer support.
* Analyse costs of sales, to be able to make informed pricing recommendations for core and new business opportunities and propositions in emerging markets.
* Prepare pricing and sales reports to contribute to the overall business strategy, including use of benchmarking to gauge market levels accurately.
* Prepare detailed project handover or sales packs as instructed in the company protocol.
* Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
The position comes with a great base salary, strong commission structure and Company car.
