We are looking for passionate and motivated Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join us as Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs).
Role and Responsibilities:
As an HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students and teachers by:
Providing PPA Cover: Delivering high-quality lessons in the absence of class teachers, ensuring continuity and engagement.
Small Group and One-to-One Core Subject Boosters: Offering targeted support in core subjects to help students achieve their full potential.
Delivering External Interventions: Implementing specialized programs for learners who require a more personalized approach to their education.Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver lessons to cover for teachers during PPA time.
Conduct small group sessions focusing on key subjects such as English, Maths, and Science.
Provide one-to-one tuition to students who need extra help to catch up or excel.
Implement and manage external intervention programs, tailoring your approach to meet individual student needs.
Collaborate with teachers and support staff to monitor student progress and adjust strategies accordingly.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it as an ECT.
Experience or a strong interest in working with children in an educational setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
