Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Responsibilities:
* Support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality teaching and learning activities
* Lead and deliver lessons under the guidance of the class teacher
* Work with individuals and small groups to provide targeted support and intervention
* Assist in the planning, preparation, and assessment of lessons and learning materials
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
* Implement behavior management strategies and promote positive student engagement
* Contribute to the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for students with additional needs
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure effective support for students
Requirements:
* Recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent
* Previous experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
* Sound knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
* Ability to lead and deliver lessons independently, adapting to the needs of the students
* A positive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Desirable
Qualifications and Skills:
* Additional qualifications or training in areas such as Special Educational Needs (SEN), behaviour management, or phonics instruction
* Experience with assessment and tracking of student progress
* Knowledge of specific interventions and strategies to support students with diverse needs
