Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Bristol – up to £38,000 + Car/Allowance
Our client is an international construction and civil engineering company with a turnover of over £1.5bn. They are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for their transport and infrastructure division to join their team working on rail projects from their offices in Bristol.
They are one of the leading term maintenance contractors carrying out buildings refurbishment, mechanical and electrical planned maintenance, and repairs on behalf of Network Rail and other train operating companies.
You will be working on a national reactive and minor works portfolio which includes refurbishments, maintenance and small projects. Most of these works are on train stations and can include M&E works, re-roofing, facilities upgrades, security and fire alarm system repairs etc. They use a National Rail bespoke contract (NR4) on these works however they are moving to NEC4 on new frameworks.
They are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who ideally would have a background in facilities management and/or small works and repairs and maintenance. This doesn’t necessarily have to be on rail.
They are offering a salary of up to £38,000 + car or allowance and other great benefits. With the size of this organisation there are great opportunities for training and development and progression. They will also actively help you to study towards becoming Chartered.
