About our Client
The company has been growing steadily over the last few years and is looking to expand its commercial team.
The company undertakes dry lining, ceilings, partitioning, plastering, rendering, and metsec packages amongst other areas for a well-established client base.
The business is a friendly, family run environment and they have a strong growth plan in place for the foreseeable future.
About the Role
Duties and responsibilities will include;
Working with the Commercial Manager to ensure successful delivery of projects
Undertaking costing analysis, take-offs, and procurement schedules
Monthly reporting
Applications for payment
Identifying and negotiating variations
Material requisitions to the Buying department
Attend meetings with clients and colleagues
Approve Sub-Contractor valuations
Final Account agreementsAbout the Candidate
Proven record in surveying for the drylining industry
Preferably graduate in a Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent
Wider knowledge of the fit-out industry
Familiar with site visits and client-facing activity
Excellent analytical skills are essential, as are numeracy, literacy, and communication skills in English
Computer literacy in MS Office, ProjectPoints of Appeal
Autonomy in the role with prospects of progression to a more senior position in the company’s commercial team
An established contractor with a long pipeline of work and a large varied client base
