Our client, a roofing, siding, and windows supplier and installer, is seeking a Siding Outside Sales Representative to join their team.
As a Siding Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in estimating material and labor costs for residential projects, creating accurate bids, and establishing and maintaining customer relationships.
Siding Outside Sales Job Responsibilities Accurately estimate material and labor costs for residential projects using software and industry knowledge
Manipulate data from software to create accurate bids
Establish and maintain customer relationships
Communicate with customers to determine specifications for each individual project as well as outlining the scope of work before and during the estimate/project process
Price work based upon labor calculations and pricing received from suppliers
Organize documents and maintain accurate records
Ensure all details are correctly included on bids
Take accurate measurements
Problem solve with the customers
Qualifications Background in both outside sales and building materials
Specific siding experience in the residential market is beneficial, but sales experience in building materials in general will also be considered
Experience in estimating and working out labor and materials is a huge plus
Strong hunter mentality, as this role will eventually transition to a 100% commission-based compensation structure
