Plastics Trader

WasteRecruit are working with a global trader of plastic scrap and recyclates to recruit a trader in Central America.
The client has established themselves across Europe and has had success in other markets over the past few years. They are currently sourcing material in Mexico and importing it to Europe for reprocessing and are looking to expand that operation by recruiting a commercially astute professional to join the team.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for the existing accounts and suppliers, as well as being tasked with expanding their business opportunities.
We are particularly keen on speaking to the following:
Candidates with knowledge of the plastics market in Mexico. They should be familiar with different grades, polymers and regrinds, and have an established network of suppliers.
Candidates who know and understand the logistics and regulations of exporting material from Mexico.
Candidates with excellent commercial awareness, with demonstrable success in business development and account management.
This is an exciting opportunity lead in the development of the clients operations in Central and South America. There is potential here for the role to grow as this emerging market grows over the coming years.
