About the Role:
I am seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a team in Preston. The ideal candidate will have a background in working with pumps. This role offers the opportunity to shadow a seasoned professional for approximately 2 months ahead of their retirement, providing a smooth transition into a long-term position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, particularly pumps.
* Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety and industry standards.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter.
* Familiarity with pumps and chemical.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Good communication skills.
