We are seeking an expert-level Senior Digital Forensics and Incident Response Specialist to join our proactive cybersecurity team. Reporting directly to the Manager of Cybersecurity Defense & Response, you'll play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization by responding to digital threats with precision and expertise.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead the incident response team to manage cybersecurity incidents such as data breaches and malware infections.
* Conduct thorough digital forensics investigations, ensuring compliance with both industry best practices and legal standards.
* Analyze diverse data sources like log data and network traffic to detect and mitigate potential security threats.
* Monitor systems continuously for suspicious activities and implement proactive security measures.
* Produce comprehensive reports detailing incidents and security risks with actionable improvement recommendations.
* Collaborate with IT, legal, and compliance teams to ensure unified incident response and regulatory adherence.
* Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology to enhance skills and cybersecurity measures.
* Mentor and provide expert guidance to the Defense and Response team members.
* Communicate critical threat information and updates effectively to both leadership and stakeholders.
* Participate in and contribute to IS Cybersecurity operations tools and practices, including incident response tabletop exercises.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Profound expertise in conducting forensic investigations using a variety of cybersecurity tools, across on-premises and cloud environments.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of managing diverse teams through complex security incidents.
* Proven problem-solving prowess, with a knack for tackling complex challenges and delivering innovative solutions.
* Familiarity with SCADA networks, pipeline operations, and Industrial Plant Control systems is advantageous.
* Experience with Palo Alto Cortex XDR and Microsoft Defender will be considered a significant plus.
