Minibus School Run Driver

MINIBUS DRIVER
Part-time: 20-30 hours a week
£14.00 per hour
We have immediate openings for school run minibus drivers in the Southampton area.
Your working hours will vary depending on the run you are allocated and will be Monday to Friday. Mornings and afternoons during term time only.
Opportunity for other work in the evenings, weekends and during school holidays.
As the driver, you will usually be teamed up with an Escort who looks after the children whilst in the Vehicle. We try to maintain continuity for the children by ensuring that the driver, Escort, and route remain unchanged as much as possible. A fully maintained vehicle will be supplied (work use only).
School Minibus Driver Requirements:
* Transporting the same child or children to and from school, 5 days a week.
* No previous experience necessary as full training will be provided
* Required to undertake an enhanced DBS check
* Valid D or D1 License
* Valid PSV License
* Valid CPC Card
* Must be over 25 years (For Insurance Purposes)
School Minibus Driver Responsibilities:
* To transport children to and from school during term time, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.
* To ensure passengers are picked up and dropped off at the specified times and locations.
* To maintain a clean vehicle at all times.
* To obey all traffic laws at all times.
* Assist students in getting in and out of the vehicle if required.
* Attend any safeguarding training as required. Please note this vacancy may close at any time, therefore early submission of your application is highly encouraged.
