Job Duties:

Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Create individualised learning plans to support the academic development of each student
Assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student support
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Specialist knowledge in both English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level
Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and learning support techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Proficient in using educational technology to enhance learning

Working Conditions:

Work in a home environment
Full-time hours, temporary position
Collaborative work with school staff, parents, and external support services
Salary range of £20 - £30 per hour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
