We are a recruitment agency that specialises in finding the best drivers for transport companies. We are currently working with a reputable transport company based in Huddersfield, who are looking for HGV Class 1 cat C+E drivers to join their team.

Job Type: Ongoing trunking job

Shifts:

Days: Monday to Friday
Nights: Sunday to Thursday
We work with ad hoc drivers as well to support any additional ad hoc shifts

Double Decker
Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license
Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience
Familiarity with UK roads and regulations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
No more than 6 points on your licence (NO IN10, CU10, MS10, TS10, TT99, DR10) 
Responsibilities:

Trunking deliveries between group and customer sites
Loading and unloading cargo
Adhering to safety protocols
Occasionally assisting with load interaction
Some shunting duties may be required
Pay Rates PAYE 

Mon-Fri DAYS £16.81 per hour (£15.00 + £1.81 holiday accrual)
Mon-FRI NIGHTS £17.93 per hour (£16.00 + £1.93 holiday accrual)
Saturday £19.05 per hour (£17.00+  £2.05 holiday accrual)
Sunday  £21.29 per hour (£19.00+  £2.29 holiday accrual)
