Forklift Operator

Millington manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods within our facilities. You will be responsible for operating a forklift in a safe and responsible manner, performing various warehouse tasks, and adhering to all safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Maneuver and operate powered industrial forklifts to load and unload materials and deliveries
Transport goods to and from designated areas in the warehouse
Stack and organize products in designated storage areas
Verify materials and products for accuracy and quantity
Inspect forklifts before and after use to ensure proper functioning and report any defects or malfunctions
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Comply with company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or similar setting
Valid forklift operator certification
Proficient in operating various types of forklifts, including sit-down and stand-up models
Strong knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and procedures
Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
Excellent coordination and spatial awareness skills
Basic computer skills and ability to navigate inventory management systems
