CNC Machinist

Daval Machining Services Ltd has an open position for a CNC Machinist / Programmer at our premises in Oldmeldrum.
CNC Machinist - Duties/Job role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for programming and setting up CNC Lathes and/or Milling machines. They must be time served and have relevant experience in this field, with references to back this up. We are looking for someone that will require little or no training. They must be able to manufacture parts from various materials to a very high standard to meet our customer requirements.
We are a ISO 9001 accredited company which requires every member of staff to play their role in maintaining a high-quality service for our customers. The ability to read drawings and program speeds/feeds according to the material being machined is essential.
The successful candidate will be expected to work a 38 hour week (Monday – Friday - 7:30am/4pm) and work overtime as and when required. It is important to us that you are able to work well as part of a friendly team of staff.
CNC Machinist - Essential Qualifications:
* Time served as a CNC Machinist.
* Machine programming – Mazatrol ideally.
* Be familiar with machine / tooling set up
* The ability to read engineering drawings
* The ability to machine material at correct feeds / speeds.
* Experience in working within a similar field at a previous company.
