Maths Teacher Required for SEND School in Southampton
An independent SEND school in Southampton is currently looking for a creative Maths teacher who is committed to improving the exam results, progress, and engagement of pupils. If you’re ready for a new challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
They are ideally looking for someone to start ASAP, however, it is possible for a September 2024 start for the right candidate!
About the role
This is a full-time role in which you will be expected to deliver well-planned lessons and have strong behaviour management.
This school is seeking a Maths Teacher with the possibility of additional responsibility to meet the exceptional demand for their services.
You will play a vital role in fostering mathematical literacy and confidence among students from Key Stage 2 (KS2) to Key Stage 4 (KS4). Your primary purpose will be to create an engaging and supportive learning environment where pupils of all abilities can develop their mathematical skills, critical thinking abilities, and problem-solving techniques.
The ideal candidate

Extensive experience teaching maths at Key Stage 2-4
*
QTS (desired but not required)
*
Have a contagious enthusiasm for teaching Maths.
*
Strong teaching background
*
Available for interview and observation
*
Committed and proactive in regards to engaging students
*
Have experience in SEND settings or a strong desire to work in one.
