Location: Leicester with Hybrid Working
Salary: £68,259 - £75,310 Senior scale, points 15 to 19.

The Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL) is the leading trade union and professional association for all school and college leaders, representing more than 25,000 members in primary, secondary and post-16 education. Our members are responsible for the education of more than four million young people and children. We work to shape national education policy, provide advice and support to our members and deliver first-class professional development.
The post is a new role supporting the Leadership Group and is part of the Association’s investment in providing strategic leadership to develop and implement our people strategy. This ensures that our people and culture remain at our core as we adapt and develop in changing times.
The role requires an individual who can work strategically and take a hands-on, operational approach to implementing required actions. We are looking for exceptional professional people with the skills and experience to develop a strong and collaborative culture that supports the ambitions and growth of our people.
The post-holder will be offered flexible working – a combination of working from home and being in-person at our Leicester HQ (frequency to be agreed at interview). IT and telephone equipment will be provided.
This role is paid on a five-point incremental range from £68,259 to £75,310. The Association offers a very generous package of benefits, including 33 days' holiday plus bank holidays and a pension scheme to which the Association contributes 9% of salary. Reasonable travel and out-of-pocket expenses are also covered, including a working from home allowance.
