Learning Support Worker

Supporting Adults with learning disabilities within a day centre:

* Working 9-5, Monday – Friday! No sleep ins, earlies or lates required!

* £25,000 Starting Salary with £500 Bonus!

* Additional private work opportunities with the learners you are supporting.

Within this role you will be supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism in a day centre, set up to support service users with further educational needs.

You will be supporting with teaching and supporting the service users within an educational setting, aswell as supporting with their daily care needs.

You will plan and deliver lessons and activities to further support the development of service users.

Within this role, you will also support service users within the community, integrating them within the community and supporting their independence.

You will also provide personal care where required, dependant on the needs of the service user.

Within this role, you will need to be confident in supporting learners with challenging behaviour, and comfortable in de-escalating these scenarios. Due to the needs of the service users, relevant care experience within the UK is required.
