Part-time Estimator

A building and construction client of ours in the Colchester area are recruiting a Part-time Estimator to join their small office-based team of 4. This position is seeking someone for 2 full days (ideally Mondays/Tuesdays) working 8.00am - 4.00pm with a 30-minute break and is paying £15,000 - £20,000 per annum (£38,000 - £50,000 pro rata) depending on previous skills and extensive experience. This company are happy for the successful person to work remotely the majority of the time with 2 office visits a month.

Key Duties for this Part-Time Estimator will include but are not limited to:

Preparing and submitting quotations and details of costs for work to be done.
Pay scaffolders labour costs on measured work done.
Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients.
Read from drawings & plans to develop cost estimates on labour.Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Part-time Estimator position:

Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheets (Excel).
Ability to read drawings and plans and develop cost estimates on labour.
Experience in building client relationships.
5+ years previous experience working in an Estimator, Quantity Surveyor or similar role required.
