They manufacture precision engineered parts for a range of customers and are looking for an experienced Toolmaker to join their growing team. The client offers excellent career progression and development, and the ideal candidate will be experienced working within a high-precision industry, will have the ability to create, repair or modify tooling for manufacturing purposes, and will be confident liaising with multiple departments.

Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 16:30pm, Friday – 7:30am – 12:30pm

Job Description

Repair, create, and modify press tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
Set up and operate a range of machinery such as milling, turning, and grinding machines.
Read and understand the requirements on the Job Card for the operation to be carried out.
Liaise with manufacturing engineers and other departments where necessary.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Experience creating, repairing, or modifying tooling for manufacturing purposes (ideally press tooling)
Well-versed working within a high-precision industry, such as aerospace, automotive, nuclear, marine etc
Confident operating a range of machinery used to create, repair, or modify tooling (milling, turning, or grinding machines for example)
