Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor- Main Contractor
Location: Lincolnshire, UK
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 DOE
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and financial forecasts.
* Conduct detailed cost analysis and value engineering.
* Manage subcontractor procurement, contracts, and negotiations.
* Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to financial plans.
* Provide accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders.
* Resolve any contractual and commercial issues that may arise.
* Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with tier 2 main contractors.
* Extensive experience in both new build and renovation projects.
* Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost management.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in using industry-standard software and tools.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Professional membership with RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or similar is preferred.
