Environmental & Land Use - Associate

Job Description:
There is an immediate opening for an experienced Litigation Associate with a minimum of 3 years experience in litigation, preferably in California. While prior work in product liability, toxic tort, or environmental litigation is advantageous, we welcome applications from litigators willing to specialize in these areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and analysis.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
Assist in case management and strategy development.
Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings.
Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff on case-related matters.
Maintain communication with clients and provide regular updates on case progress.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active membership in the California State Bar.
Minimum 3 years of litigation experience.
Excellent legal research and writing skills.
Strong academic credentials.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in product liability, toxic tort, or environmental litigation.
3 to 7 years of experience after graduating from law school.
Previous experience in a large law firm setting.
