Role: Finance Assistant
Location: Cambourne, Cambridgeshire
Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5:30pm (1 hour lunch break)
Salary: up to £27,000 per annum depending on your experience

Do you have a background in Finance and would like to join a busy Accounts Team?
We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant who is professional and has a can-do attitude. You will primarily support the team by keeping accurate and up to date records for all Accounts Payable but will also provide cover on Accounts Receivable during busy periods. A background within Finance/ Accounts is essential.

Your duties:
* Processing supplier invoices
* Updating records of matched/ unmatched and over matched transactions
* Reviewing and actioning discrepancies
* Credit control
* Making payments via online banking
* Reconcile all supplier statements
* Monitoring foreign currency requirements to ensure cashflow is managed
* Maintaining relationships with suppliers
* Support the Year End process and the Annual Audit
* Undertake other tasks as requested by Finance Manager within limits of capability and training
About you:
* Level 2 or 3 AAT qualification
* Confident using Excel – Vlookups, Pivot Tables and complex formulas
* High level of accuracy
* Self-motivated and resourceful in your approach to work
