About the Role - We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join the team for a civils project in Sellafield. As a Tier 1 Contractor, They are committed to delivering high-quality infrastructure projects. This role will focus primarily on subcontractor management and will require extensive experience in managing projects valued between £2-3 million.
Key Responsibilities
Subcontractor Management: Oversee and coordinate subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Quality Control: Monitor project progress and quality, ensuring all deliverables meet the required standards.Essential Requirements
Experience: Proven track record of managing civil engineering projects valued at £2-3 million.
Contract Knowledge: Strong understanding and experience with NEC (New Engineering Contract) frameworks.
Project Management Skills: Excellent planning, organizational, and leadership skills.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Flexibility: Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and on-site presence as needed.Desirable Qualifications
Education: Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
