We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager to join our client’s team, with a clear pathway to becoming an Area/Cluster Manager within the year.
About the Role: This is a unique opportunity to manage a 3-bed EBD home rated GOOD by Ofsted, with the potential to oversee two additional EBD homes for which successful planning permission has already been obtained. The role offers a strong focus on CAHMS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) and is supported by an experienced clinical team, providing a holistic and therapeutic environment for the young people in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the 3-bed EBD home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement care plans that address the individual needs of each young person.
Work closely with CAHMS and the clinical team to provide integrated support.
Oversee staff recruitment, training, and development to build a cohesive and skilled team.
Prepare for and participate in Ofsted inspections, ensuring the home maintains its GOOD rating.
Drive the expansion of services by managing the setup and opening of two additional EBD homes.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a residential care setting, ideally with a focus on EBD.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and inspire a team.
In-depth understanding of CAHMS and experience working with clinical teams.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
Ambition to progress to an Area/Cluster Manager role within a year.
Desirable:
Relevant qualifications in social care, child care, or a related field.
Experience managing multiple homes or projects.
