Lab Technician - Environmental Chemistry
Location: York
Contract Length: 6 Months
Pay Rate: £12.27 hour
Are you a skilled Lab Technician with experience in Analytical Chemistry? We have an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic environmental focused company in York.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine analytical testing on food samples
Prepare and standardize chemical solutions
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
Record and analyse data with attention to detail
Follow all safety and quality guidelines
Role Requirements:
BSc in a science based degree.
Proven experience in a laboratory setting
Understanding of HPLC and GC techniques
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
