My client, a large group of commercial vehicle sales and repairers are looking for a motivated and driven Van Business Development Manager / Fleet Sales Manager / LCV Business Development Manager / Fleet Business Development Manager / Automotive Field Sales Manager to join their award-winning company. They are looking for a top-performing sales individual to join them, who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and working with customers to provide van and aftersales solutions to really meet their business needs. You will be able to identify the right vehicle and / or aftersales requirements for the customer and present to them captivating solutions. If you have experience and interest in EV (electric vehicles) that is definitely advantageous too.

Your role as the Van Business Development Manager / Fleet Sales Manager / LCV Business Development Manager / Fleet Business Development Manager / Automotive Field Sales Manager:

Day to day, you will be:

• Applying a holistic approach to business development, aligning sales and aftersales opportunities for customers.

• Actively prospect to bring new customers into the business.

• Achieve large scale fleet sales units of 25+

• Establish and foster contacts with departments that support sales activity as well as aftersales activity.

• Utilising your time effectively and deciding when in-person meetings or Teams meetings are more advantageous.

• Conduct presentations to provide customers with information and advice on vehicles, equipment, aftersales and accessories.

• Conclude sales contracts, negotiate the appropriate finance products and packages, working with the F&I team.

• Manage orders and supervise order processing, working with our sales admin department.

• Carry out follow-ups with customers and prospect customers to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.

• Ensure relevant marketing campaigns are promoted effectively, working with our marketing department.

• Attend company and manufacturer events as required.

• Maintain customer database, ensure customer/prospects call programme are adhered to, to achieve prospecting targets.
