About the Directorate

The Assurance and Public Protection directorate ensures democratic accountability of council services. The directorate works together to monitor and ensure compliance and provide assurance of Barnet being an engaged and effective council that protects the public purse. They provide enforcement services that engage and protect residents and businesses to support a safer and healthier borough.

About the role

We are excited to share this opportunity to join our evolving Corporate Complaints Team as an apprentice.

As part of the team, you will be essential to the day-to-day running of the team liaising with both internal colleagues and external stakeholders such as the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman.

Working within the Corporate Complaints Team offers the unique opportunity to learn about different areas of the council when working with colleagues to help resolve complaints and learn from them. No two different days are the same.
