Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advisor to the business - Expectation for this role is to use your experience and knowledge of the Memory components (DRAM, NAND, NOR Flash etc.) to be an advisor to the business.
Supplier Management – drive day to day supplier business activities, supply & pricing negotiations, and supplier performance reviews
Prepare for and host cross functional periodic Memory Commodity Council meetings and publish meeting summaries, drive actions
Drive execution of commercial agreements with suppliers
Develop and maintain Memory Sourcing Strategy
Prepare for and host cross functional Memory Commodity Council
Work closely with Engineering on new products
Influence cross functional groups in driving supplier selection and strategy implementation
Develop and refine should cost models
Prepare and publish quarterly updates to executives
Prepare and publish Supplier Scorecards and Dashboards
Maintain spend database and prepare quarterly spend and savings reports
Schedule and facilitate discussions between suppliers and technology teams as needed
