Venture Recruitment Partners are exclusively representing a young, exciting manufacturing startup in Southampton poised for significant growth. We're looking for a talented and motivated Finance Manager to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in our financial success.

The Role:

In this newly created role, you will wear many hats and be responsible for the full accounting cycle. You'll be instrumental in establishing and maintaining strong financial processes as we scale.

Transaction Processing: Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and payments and managing vendor and customer relationships.
Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow) and management reports, ensuring adherence to GAAP standards.
Cash Flow Management: Develop and monitor cash flow forecasts, proactively managing liquidity and working capital.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Partner with the leadership team to develop and maintain financial budgets and forecasts.
Tax Planning & Compliance: Work with external advisors to ensure timely and accurate tax filings.
You are a great fit if you have:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to manage the full accounting cycle.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
A passion for learning and staying up-to-date on accounting best practices.
