We are currently recruiting enthusiastic individuals for the role of High Level Teaching Assistant across our Primary Schools in Southampton.

Position: HLTA (High Level Teaching Assistant)
Location: Southampton
Salary Scale: £12.82 - £15.50 per Hour
Contract Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborating closely with teachers to support lesson delivery and classroom activities.
Providing targeted one-on-one or small group support to students as directed by teachers.
Assisting in preparing engaging learning materials and resources to enhance lesson effectiveness.
Fostering positive relationships with students to support their social and emotional development.
Implementing behavior support strategies in alignment with school policies to maintain a positive learning environment.
Supporting the class teacher and covering lessons during PPA time.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential as a High Level Teaching Assistant.
Demonstrate genuine passion for education and commitment to student well-being.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic educational environment.
Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and other support staff for student success.

Have the right to work in the UK.
Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
