Senior Quantity Surveyor

My client are a well-established regional construction and housing contractor possessing a wealth of expertise and experience in successfully delivering a wide array of projects across sectors including education, healthcare, housing, commercial, and retail.

With a strong pipeline of diverse and exciting schemes, they are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. You'll be working on a number of newly secured D&B, new build, and refurbishment projects, valued at up to £10m.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Efficiently manage project costs from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets and financial objectives.
Oversee the procurement process, including tendering, negotiation, and contract administration.
Proficiently handle various contract forms, including JCT D&B, management contracting, and NEC, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and value enhancement.
Effectively manage subcontractor relationships, including procurement, payment applications, and dispute resolution.
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with cost, contracts, and procurement.
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, forecasts, and cost analysis.Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in main contracting
Proficiency in handling various contract forms
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams, clients, and subcontractorsBenefits:
