HGV Class 1 Driver

Menzies Distribution are looking for a number of HGV/LGV Class 1 Drivers to join us, providing a first class service with our team in Featherstone, WF7 . You’ll be undertaking the delivery & collection of product on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and its customers.

Shift Pattern: 4 On/4 Off Days
Salary:£13.32 Ph/ £34,641 Per Annum
Location : Featherstone, WF7
Holiday Allowance: 20 days exclusive of bank holidays
Monthly Pay.
Parking onsite
HGV Class 1 driver duties:

Maintain professional standards where representing MDL on delivery and collection 
Carryout pre-use checks prior to using any equipment / vehicle
Report and H&S issues or defects to MDL management teams
Ensure your vehicle is loaded safely & correctly at all times
Check & complete all paperwork such as, POD & Delivery 
Ensure returned goods are managed by the correct process at all times
Provide relevant feedback to management 
Maintain vehicle cleanliness
Ability to work a Night Out wherever possible
HGV Class 1 driver requirements:

At least 6 months driving experience
Ability to adhere to H&S legislastion
Comply with EU driver hours, Tachograph limits & WTD regulations
No more than 6 points & no DD/DR endorsements
Hold valid C+E license
Ability to pass driving assesment
