Dispensing Optician

We are currently working alongside a well-established independent practice in Chippenham, Wiltshire to recruit a Dispensing Optician to their growing team.

Dispensing Optician - Role

Independent Opticians which has been in the area for 40 years
Clinically focused practice
Directors who are constantly investing and developing the practice
2 testing rooms
45 minute tests
Working in a team of 4-5 people
Paperless records
Essilor specialists
Digital dispensing equipment
Working as the sole Dispensing Optician
Ordering items from suppliers as required
Helping train the support team
Diary management
Working closely with the Directors to ensure new services/picing schemes are introduced smoothly
Working 5 days a week with 1 in 4 Sat mornings
Working hours are between 8.30am to 5.30pm (8.30am to 12.30pm on a Sat)
1 Hour Lunch
Basic salary between £29,000 - £37,000 DOE
GOC/ABDO fees paid

Qualified Dispensing Optician registered with the GOC
Friendly and approachable
