Continuous Improvement Manager

We are currently working on behalf of a true market leader within the manufacturing space with high ambitions to take their business forward in regards to efficiency / quality and customer service. There facility in Luton, Bedfordshire is looking to begin their long term vision to increase their efficiency and quality on site to result in a higher level of customer satisfaction.

With this in mind they are looking to add a Continuous Improvement Manager to their structure, their primary role will be to support all activities to help close the gaps on all things production / manufacturing and supply chain.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Support the multiple workstreams in root cause analysis and closure of performance gaps.
Oversee the engineering department is increasing serviceability and minimising disruptions to production.
Lead the R&D team to ensure efficient and high quality processes are in place.
Support all Lean activities including training, mentoring, driving improvement and cost savings.
Oversee all metrics including Cost-Of-Quality / Engineering Costs / Production targets.
Assist with the company leadership in their development of future leaders programs.   Skills required to be successful in this Role:

Demonstrated experience in Lean Manufacturing or equivalent continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience in Quality Control. ISO 9001 would be advantageous.
Proven project management experience.  
Background within manufacturing and production.
The package for this role includes:

Basic Salary of up to £50,000
Working week of Monday - Friday (Early finish on Friday)
25 days Annual Leave
