Sr. Accountant

Job Description: 
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of accounting principles. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations.
Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Conduct month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and financial analysis.
Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and procedures to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and provide financial insights.
Participate in financial audits and coordinate with external auditors.
Mentor and train junior accounting staff as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
