Are you an experienced Senior or Team Leader in a children’s residential setting looking for your next career step? We have an exciting opportunity for a Children’s Residential Deputy Manager in Leicester.
The Role:
As the Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operations of the residential home. Your responsibilities will include ensuring high-quality care for the children and young people, supervising and mentoring the staff team, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Assist the Registered Manager in the overall management of the residential home.
* Ensure the highest standards of care and support for the children and young people.
* Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective team performance.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
* Participate in on-call duties and sleep-ins as required.
Qualifications / Requirements:
* Must hold a minimum of Level 3 in Children’s Residential.
* Proven experience in a senior or team leader role within a children’s residential setting.
* A valid UK driving licence is essential.
* Strong leadership and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
